“Solas”, which means Light, was inspired by the word ‘Undeterred’ as described by a friend:

“Undeterred. Whether that’s to love again despite being hurt, to help a friend despite our own pain, to forgive and grow, to try something new, to trust again. Despite all we know about the world, we get back up and are persistent to let our light shine again, to try again.“

Solas depicts the often quiet strength it takes to remain gentle, compassionate and forgiving rather than being hardened by circumstances, no matter how dark they may be, and allowing our own light to shine again.

Daisies are often a symbol of purity and patience, while the Celtic symbol of the Tree of Life, shown in her earrings, represent balance and harmony.
