Neart

“Neart”, meaning strength, is inspired by the word “Resilience”. This was by far the most common response I received to the question posed on social media, and a testament to the strength women embody every day.  Below is one of these responses in relation to the resilience of women:

“There isn’t one woman I know that has faced hardship of any scale and not overcome it, bouncing back from the pain and struggle of the situation she went through. Offering a stronger version of the person she was before.”

Butterflies are a symbol of resilience. Their struggle to break free from their cocoons is what makes their wings strong. The Dara Celtic Knot fashioned into a headpiece symbolisesStrength, wisdom and endurance.
