Misneach

“Misneach”, meaning Courage, is the first portrait of the collection. The concept for this portrait is initially how the idea for the collection was born. 

There is an abundance of qualities to admire within ourselves and each other, not despite our personal and shared fears and challenges, but often even more so because of them. Courage is something we choose, a strength we find to stand tall rather than shrinking ourselves in the midst of fears or disruptions to our peace.

“Misneach” represents this courage, holding a strong, determined, steady gaze in the presence of swirling shadows closing in around her, and bearing a traditional Celtic Ogham tattoo behind her shoulder translating to Misneach.
