Travel, or the desire for it, almost feels like a part of our Irish culture. Our globe-trotting little nation has a history of emigration, with many of us loving to explore new cities and cultures, whether that means moving to a new country or booking a flurry of weekend getaways.

This piece is inspired by that curiosity. Soft greys build the structure of the composition, in keeping with the studio's identity. Vibrant pinks add a pop of colour for an eye-catching contrast. The poem scrawled in French speaks of the desire to explore and live fully within ourselves and not just in dreams, translating as follows:

Life is short,
The World is wide.

Travel as often as possible.
Your dreams are not meant
To stay in your imagination.

Set them free.
Find the parts of yourself waiting
In the places you long to be.
